Sharing the Wonder!

A beautiful but cold Sunday afternoon afforded us the opportunity to share a portion of what we've been experiencing these past couple of years with some friends.
My friend, the Gypsy Scholar (Horace Jeffery Hodges in the comments), has come back to his boyhood home in Salem and brought his family all the way from Seoul, South Korea! We met online through EIC nearly two years ago. When he had made plans to bring his family back for a visit, he...naturally...contacted me to request a personal tour and a bit of in-person fellowship. I was more than happy to oblige!
HillbillyRecon joined us with his family and we took the couple and their kids first to City Rock Bluff...and then to the magnificent Natural Bridge near Dolph.

Check out the EIC Journal entry!

Daddio, I'm now back in Seoul and can at last view these images, which turned out quite well . . . even the one with your enormous head.

We really enjoyed that little hike and look forward to future hikes on return trips to the Ozarks, at which time, your EIC site will have expanded into a professional tour-guide business.

By the way, I may need to 'borrow' some of these photos for my own blog entry on the Ozark trip when I get around to composing that one.

I just showed the group photo under the natural bridge to En-Uk and asked him if he recalls it.

"Yes," he said, "it's the nasty bridge." A typical En-Ukian comment. He meant "natural" bridge, of course . . . though the place was a bit muddy in spots.

Daddio, I've now added a photoblog of the Ozark trip, and some of the images come from our exciting day with the EIC folks, i.e., you and the others.
