The Old Moser Schoolhouse (Wiseman)

The Moser Schoolhouse was built in 1917 to replace the old log structure that stood a quarter of a mile or so away. It is built of cut stone, an unusual material to find in a schoolhouse in Izard County. The old building stands along the Wiseman Road between Wiseman and Horseshoe Bend. The barn that once served the students and teacher still stands, as well!
