Awesome pictures. I grew up in Lunenburg with Jennifer G. (Hey girl, thanks for the site link). Remember many o night spent in the community building listening to music or watching voters when elections were held. Livin on the creek, what better place to explore, play and get wet. Vividly remember the flood of 82 and it changing the course of the creek in many areas and it getting mighty close to Aunt Velma's garden. Ahhh the memories....
The Lunenburg post is a little shy on quality content. I plan to get out soon to "Flat Rock" up on the hill. I've neve been to it but have heard it's one of the best views in the county. I'm hoping the other Jennifer will get her hubby to take a look at the site and maybe he'll show us some more cool places.
Alright Den-Den!! lol I've got some photos I would have loved to have sent you, but I don't have your email address. So does the other Jennifer. Some more of Lunenburg and at least one or two of Gid. Keith's always too busy for this kind of stuff. lol Let me know, Jen G.
Most of what I have in the way of photos is of people that have in the past made up the Lunenburg community. So I don't know if you would want those or not.
Jennifer, When we get the domain up and going (this summer sometime) we're planning on having a community oriented page. We also plan on having a "Friends of EIC" Photo page.
Having the pleasure of spending time in Lunenburg is something I will always remember, whether hunting or just getting wet in the creek. I would like to say hi to my great uncle Eudell Smith and family there. I would like to see some pics of our cemetery, the Smith Cemetery which is located on Eudells place. My grandpa and great grandma are buried there. Thanks EIC for all the pics and info. on here. Hi also to Jennifer Grimes. I remember you from high school when she was Jennifer Mcspadden.
I know that this is a common claim people make around the world, but to me the Ozarks of Arkansas truly is God's Country! This site will be dedicated to showing anyone interested--Sunday motorists to fair-weather cyclists--some of the hidden treasures in the county they drive through.
Over the past several years, with the explosion of the popularity of custom car-clubs and motorcycle enthusiasts, Izard county has seen a parade of people from outside the area coming to enjoy the panoramic views from the comfort of their chosen mode of pleasurable transportation. Many, I'm absolutely sure, drive by sights that are easily accesible and not far off the highway never even knowing those sights are there. This blog will give anyone searching for information before they visit the area a way to know where some of those places are.

My e-mail Address is hillbillyizard@yahoo.com.
I've included it on the sidebar because for some reason Blogger isn't letting me update my profile tonight.
I'd love to see your shots!
