Chamber of the Morning Sun

Another cave that...to our knowledge...has no name. On Saturday, we visited a cave owned by a friend who has allowed us to feature other sites he owns on the blog. This cave is at the base of a bluff along the Sylamore Road. We have dubbed it "Chamber of the Morning Sun" until we are made aware of any other name for it. The reason we have named it "The Chamber of the Sun" is because on Sunday, when we returned to explore the cave further, upon entering we noticed that the sun was in direct line with the opening and a ray of light illuminated the cave floor some 20-30feet below. The intense light illuminated the whole room. It was interesting to watch the patch of light slowly move across the cave floor.
