Wintery Week in Izard

We got out Saturday morning to investigare the sights of the Lower Bone School and the Macedonia School, both near Mount Pleasant. A home and outbuilding stands on the site of the Lower Bone site and the road along which stood the Macedonia School, though once a county road, is now reverted to a trail and is gated. We'll contact the owners to see if we might visit the spot on another excursion.
So the morning wasn't a complete wash, we decided to stop by the Gid Waterfall...always worth effort!
