Video: Calico Glades

This past Saturday, Jim and I set out to explore some county roads on which we've never travelled and ended up also stopping by Rand Park in Calico Rock. Rand Park is a beautiful municipal park located along lower Calico Creek and is the perfect place for a family picnic! While there, we decided to hike a ways along the walking trail to see "The Glades" that we have been told about by numerous folks. "The Glades" is a massive glade rock formation that stretches for miles and hosts a myriad of native plant species.

Enjoy the video!

I am actually enjoying watching your little video wonderings among these natural features of the dome plateau of the Ozarks.

And in that hat, you could walk down the sidewalks of Brooklyn and fit right in. Man, that hat is hip. They were selling at our recent street fair -- the one that went down Fifth Avenue (Brooklyn not Manhattan) for fifteen blocks.

It's been a while since I've enjoyed a festival like you described. It would be nice to pack the wife and kids up and take a trek to one some day!
