My father had the cave declared a fall out shelter, and put the supplies in the cave. He installed electric lights. At the back of the cave is a clay mound beyond it through a small crawl space is a large room about a 8 foot wall crawling through the small hole we were too muddy to try to climb the wall,

The sandmine cave is private property. People live on the property now and visitors are not welcome.
